This rug was so absolutely perfect for my midcentury family room! The muted colors and optional illusion , mod design really pulled the space together. I wish I could take a photo that did this rug justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. The beige wool is almost golden. It makes the room so warm and cozy. It hasn’t had much time to rest so it may look a bit bumpyuneven. It will flatten overnight I assume. I vacuumed it thoroughly and it of course produced a lot of shed (to be expected with a wool rug), but it held up spectacularly. It’s so easy to vacuum, and is clearly of excellent quality. This is a beautiful high-quality rug. It softer than a lot of textured rugs. I was surprised that it was darker than the pictures look but it’s OK with me because I have pets. You can tell that it is bound really well, so I’m not worried about their nails, pulling the loops out.
