Really sturdy light with a cool, angular design. The gold color is a little yellow for me but it’s very close to my Troy Lighting picture lights. It does say it only takes LED, and the light’s interior is white so not sure of the light it will project I may spray it gold that seems to counteract the ugly led lights or you can use a sheet of Amber vellum. Inspired by a ship's outer hull, the Romaine series by Joss & Main has a unique shade of these picture lights made from a single piece of metal bent into a cylindrical form. These picture lights have an open-ended design, directing light both down and to the sides. A subtle horse saddle design and double barrel backplate detail that pivots in the direction needed.

My initial thoughts - this has a great weight to it, solid construction, and has a nice brushed finish. It will look fantastic against my dark green book shelves. I was pleased to see it comes with an option to direct wire or plug/socket. My favorite feature however is the open sides which disburse light to illuminate larger pieces of art!. Adam.
