Romaine Picture Light

Inspired by a ship's outer hull, the Romaine series by Joss & Main has a unique shade of these picture lights made from a single piece of metal bent into a cylindrical form. These picture lights have an open-ended design, directing light both down and to the sides. A subtle horse saddle design and double barrel backplate detail that pivots in the direction needed.

My initial thoughts - this has a great weight to it, solid construction, and has a nice brushed finish. It will look fantastic against my dark green book shelves. I was pleased to see it comes with an option to direct wire or plug/socket. My favorite feature however is the open sides which disburse light to illuminate larger pieces of art!. Adam. With a side-profile like a rising sun and handsome knurled pins so you can adjust both the length of its extension and the tilt of its smooth shade, Vernon is designed to illuminate your prized acquisitions. Different lengths and finishes accommodate paintings and personal treasures of various sizes. Vernon comes with a cord featuring an in-line switch; it may only be plugged into a standard electrical outlet on the wall. Since it may not be hardwired, it's an excellent picture light for those like to often change things up.

Love this portrait light. substantial. ordered 2 sizes for different artwork. just lovely. Theresa. Alexandria, VA. Sat Nov 25 2023

Ridgewood is for those who relish manual functionality and tactile details. It sets a tube within a tube, allowing you to control its length. Knurled knobs and ends to the metal scroll are not merely decorative—they reposition length of light and angle of illumination.

These have been really great for 7 years now!. Darrell. Jackson, TN. Sun Aug 23 2026
