Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. One crucial aspect to consider is the chair's dimensions. Given the size of our living room and existing sofa chairs, the Gabe armchair did not blend seamlessly with our decor. The chair's back height is noticeably lower than that of our sofa, and the seat cushion is just 16 inches from the floor to the top. However, we found the seat cushion's depth to be more than adequate. Despite these size challenges, we decided to keep the chair, and it now occupies a lovely space in our guest bedroom, where it looks right at home.
