Cast Iron Free-Standing Umbrella Base

Ensure your umbrella has a spot to rest with this freestanding, universal umbrella base, perfect for residential or non-residential use. Crafted from cast iron, its 95 lb. weight offers a solid foundation that ensures your umbrella will stay in place. It also features a removable pole neck to accommodate a variety of umbrellas. Plus, although not waterproof, it is resistant to weather, rust, stains, and mildew! Best of all, it features adjustable tightening knobs to provide support for most umbrellas.

Good solid base. The one drawback is that it is really really heavy. You can't pick it up by the base post or it will void the warranty so if you are not comfortable picking it up to move it by the edges I would think twice. The plus side is that the umbrella probably isn't going anywhere unless there is a hurricane. It looks like there is a possibility to put casters on where the little rubber feet are so that's something I may explore down the road.. Winston. Portland, OR. Sun May 26 2019
