The lamp shade is angled slightly and the top curved metal piece was a different shade of antique brass than the other pieces. Also there was a small dent on the base but customer service was great. The lamp is definitely solid though and of high quality. I love that it is a 3 way bulb (not included). The table has a small usb charging port on it too and is very convenient for a drink to be set on. I would buy this product again and had a great experience with J&M customer service as well.. This Burmeister Opion floor lamp is so nice! It has a classic mixed with modern design and a beautiful neutral creamy beige color. I like that it’s very simple and adds a soft glow to the room. Wow, what a statement piece! It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. This truly is a high-end lamp. The base is solid and sturdy with a beautiful textured finish. I also love the shade, the fabric looks expensive and gives such a nice warm glow on a wall when the lamp is on. One thing I noticed is that the shade is a little warmer and more beige in person than it appears in the listing photos, but I actually like it even better this way. This is a beautiful floor lamp with a simple, modern design. The wood base looks great in person, feels sturdy and well made, and it has a really nice presence in the room. Assembly was incredibly easy and only took a few minutes. My only hesitation is the overall value. The base is made from rubberwood and the lamp is not dimmable. While neither of those things takes away from the quality or appearance, I would have expected more premium materials or features from a lamp positioned at the higher end of the market.
