The lamp shade is angled slightly and the top curved metal piece was a different shade of antique brass than the other pieces. Also there was a small dent on the base but customer service was great. The lamp is definitely solid though and of high quality. I love that it is a 3 way bulb (not included). The table has a small usb charging port on it too and is very convenient for a drink to be set on. I would buy this product again and had a great experience with J&M customer service as well.. This Burmeister Opion floor lamp is so nice! It has a classic mixed with modern design and a beautiful neutral creamy beige color. I like that it’s very simple and adds a soft glow to the room. It was really easy to assemble. The base has a nice weight to it so it’s very sturdy. The foot pedal light switch is also super convenient. Highly recommend this! Looks just like the pictures.. Wow, what a statement piece! It looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. This truly is a high-end lamp. The base is solid and sturdy with a beautiful textured finish. I also love the shade, the fabric looks expensive and gives such a nice warm glow on a wall when the lamp is on. One thing I noticed is that the shade is a little warmer and more beige in person than it appears in the listing photos, but I actually like it even better this way.
