Great lamp as far as structure and weight are concerned. Seems very well made, and has a nice weightiness to it. However, the 2 star removal comes from the fact that it gives off very little light. I guess I should have realized this, as the lamp shade is a solid material without translucency but its even worse than I imagined. I suppose it would work great for a little desk lamp or nightlight - but not much else.

I LOVE this lamp. It was the perfect addition to our bedroom facelift. I plan on stacking a couple books underneath to create some height on my dresser. It’s super solid too. Well worth the money.
