This lamp beat expectations. The shape is unique and it gives off a lovely glow. It's heavy and the bottom has a gripper that keeps it in place. I bought it for my bar and it couldn't be more perfect. I was worried that the base would look like faux painted metal with too much yellow, but it is a soft color with a good finish.

I really like this lamp, it came very well packaged and assembled really easily. On the website the base looks like it is made of wood but it’s actually not. It imitates wood very well, however. The overall look and feel is qualitative and I like the proportion of it a lot, classic but with a mid century modern touch.
