The lamp is gorgeous, I absolutely love it! The only thing I don’t like is that the top (glass) piece doesn’t properly secure to the base, it just balances on top of it. I don’t have any pets or kids right now but I wouldn’t get this lamp if I did because the top can easily be knocked off the base
