The Lafayette collection from the ED Ellen DeGeneres x Canvas Home collaboration clearly reflects Ellen's thoughtful and intuitive approach to design, which inspired it. Ellen came to us to understand and improve her vision through our commitment to simplicity and style. This scallop-edged dinnerware incorporates nature-inspired colors and a low gloss finish. Paired with coordinating table linens, the collection calls back to Ellen's garden in Montecito and the soft, sophisticated colors of a California Spring.  The ED Ellen DeGeneres x Canvas Home line embodies the essence of Ellen's most cherished values in life: warmth, style, and the joy of gathering with loved ones.

A perennial favorite, Shell Bisque distinguishes itself through its thin porcelain body. Soft, translucent glazes are applied by hand, leading to complementary hues where every piece has its unique shade. Compared to the polished pastel interior glazes, the exterior unglazed bisque finish has a grainy, sandy eggshell texture. The high firing temperatures of these pieces make them strong and functional. Sustainable and stylish for any occasion.

Designed in collaboration with the classically trained and highly accomplished British ceramicist, Daniel Smith. Using a lump of clay that is expertly mixed results in an impossibly thin and almost translucent clay body, which works perfectly in conjunction with Canvas Home's transparency glazes. This combination imbues each piece with a delicate subtlety of tone, much like that of a watercolor palette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these pasta bowls, my biggest complaint and the reason I would not purchase more in this style is that they do not easily stack. That makes it difficult to fit them in the cupboard. They were very easy to clean, and very nice looking. They are a good sturdy material, and hold a lot of food.. Ashlynngreen_6978. Sat Dec 28 2024
