The lamp actually requires a type B bulb, with a 25 watt maximum… not a standard 60w bulb. 2. Also note that the only switch is on the cord, there is not the traditional switchknob on the base to turn it on off… a bit inconvenient since I prefer the cord to be as hidden as possible, but otherwise a beautiful addition to my apartment!. Basket bliss. This basket set combines style and function with its rich mix of colors and handmade design. These are wonderful baskets with one annoying exception. Size, color, shape, volume, strength are all excellent features. The black set (my first choice) was much less expensive than the white, so that made me happy. My main objection is to the plastic “string” holding them together. It’s not that it’s unsightly ( you can’t see it from a distance), but every time I use the baskets, I get stabbed by the plastic ties or the stuff (especially fabric) I’m placing inside the baskets gets snagged by the protruding edges.
