A tree fell on my house 18 months ago and I haven't been able to live in it since. I am now a little closer to moving in and I wanted a beautiful 1/2 bath. When the sink was delivered the builders and crew could not wait to see it. They opened the box before I even go there. EVERYONE commented how beautiful it is and were impressed with the quality of the top. Definitely worth the wait for delivery. I chose this vanity specifically because it was square and would fit directly into the available space we had. The counters are square to the base with no overhang. The vanity is exactly what I expected. I will say the “soft close” drawers are definitely not that. They are a bit rough to open/close. But not a deal breaker. We did not like the handles, so we replaced them with handles we liked better. If you choose to do this, be aware that there are two holes on the cabinet doors that are a very weird size. The gentlemen who delivered our vanities were polite, attentive, and exceptionally careful in moving each vanity. Our delivery notes said “room of choice.” Their instructions said “inside entrance.” Wayfair did not schedule a third person which is a requirement for “room of choice.” However, the two gentlemen delivered every vanity to the chosen rooms. The delivery alerts I received were so confusing, differing dates and times, that I called the week before and talked to three different people, before I spoke with someone who confirmed date/time and “room of choice” delivery method. The delivery truck was packed, the gentlemen had a full day ahead of them, so they arrived shortly after 7am. They deserve recognition and a pay raise. This vanity is so nice and HEAVY! Unfortunately the first one we received was damaged in transit, so Wayfair replaced the item. The second was perfect! Unfortunately, again, the unopened box was left outside in an unexpected rain, which’s damaged the finish. I’m hopeful I can repair it. Overall this is a really good quality item!. Lauren.
