How I struggled finding a barstool for our very low counter. I have learned more about stools in the last two months than I have ever wanted to know. Oh, and a little hint, when googling about stools, make sure you put the word kitchen in front of the word stool because if not, you are going to be learning about things, you necessarily did not want to know at that time. So there is counter and bar height. Our kitchen island is apparently on the shorter side. We were tasked with finding a barstool that was no higher than 24 inches for the seat. That was not easy. I finally found these amazing stools that my husband can fit under the oddly short kitchen island. We were going with a Wabi Sabi design in my home, I drove everyone crazy with that name, by the way, and these stools fit in perfectly. We were looking for natural elements in my house, and the different choices of wood for the stools were great. Not only that we got one and one of the seats was crooked slightly and the customer service at Joss and Main immediately stepped into action to help us. I have never ordered from this company before and now I absolutely will. These stools are great especially if you need a shorter option, but they also come in a taller version as well. Cheers.. Love these! We just purchased a 70’s ranch, and seller had done a driftwood/Grey floor that we aren’t fond of. Found some decorators online who suggested balancing with jute rugs and cognac leather. These did the trick! We have a lot of work to do on the kitchen, and lighting in the house - it’s stinks to say the least (in both brightness and style of fixtures!) and as of today they’re the only furniture in the house- so don’t judge by my pic! Haha! These arrived quicker than stated, packed so incredibly well, and they’re just as pictured.
