Tamila 71" Handmade Dining Bench

Awesome addition. The weight is true. I would probably expect a ding or two when delivered. Not from transporting itself. It’s packed in wood. But the actual delivery process because of the extreme weight. But I’d guess it would grove it a touch of character

The delivery service men (Leonardo Henry) were absolutely fantastic! They helped bring this almost 700 pound piece up the stairs to the front door. They were the best!!!!!

Loved the description but this was the third time to deliver, previous two times there was damage before delivery, so it was canceled. This time delivered but there was still damage. A corner was smashed and several flaws on top that look like damage from something wet. I got a refund.

Some pointers for those considering this bench, which is beautiful and solid and absolutely worth it: • The delivery personal consisted of two men, but this is a job for - at minimum - three men. If my very strong husband were not available to help move this bench off the truck and into our home, it wouldn’t have happened. That is not to say the delivery guys weren’t strong, but to say this bench is heavy is an understatement. Thank God our plan was to place it in our hallway just inside our garage, because there is NO going up stairs with this thing… and really, no moving it at all after initial placement. It will live in this hallway forever and ever! • There are two blocky feet on the bottom on which small plastic gliders were nailed. These are worthless and some had cracked off at some point, leaving nails exposed (which would damage any floor in the process of sliding the bench in place). The delivery guys were kind enough to hold the bench on the dolly long enough for us to remove all the gliders and nails, replacing them with thick felt pads. • There will most likely be a small amount of damage in areas where the wood comes in contact with the lowering mechanism on the delivery truck. This seems unavoidable, and what little damage we saw was remedied with fine sandpaper and a little wood wax. All in all, a great purchase. But be absolutely prepared for the effort it will take when buying this beauty!
