The chair's back height is noticeably lower than that of our sofa, and the seat cushion is just 16 inches from the floor to the top. However, we found the seat cushion's depth to be more than adequate. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little.
