This trash can is the perfect size for an any kitchen. Even though it's a 10Gal can my trash liner bags that are 13Gal size still fits the can and I'm really happy with shape which is rectangular and fits right up against the wall. Just rec'd this item yesterday and so far so good! I really like the design and although long it is not real wide so this helps. Before I just collected my recyclables in a clear plastic bag which was in the corner of my kitchen but this did not always work. Although I will take the trash out more often this is not a problem and I like having the combo together (trash/recyclables).
