Just rec'd this item yesterday and so far so good! I really like the design and although long it is not real wide so this helps. Before I just collected my recyclables in a clear plastic bag which was in the corner of my kitchen but this did not always work. Although I will take the trash out more often this is not a problem and I like having the combo together (trash/recyclables).
