The mirror is very heavy, however, the wood frame is very fragile. Not solid good wood at all. The frame is painted with a thin layer of yellow gold finish, which was peeled off already in some places out of the box.

This is a beautiful mirror! The only negative with this is that I didn't realize it has speckles all over the mirror part. They're not overly noticeable so I think it will be ok but you can see them when looking up close.

This item says "subtly antiqued" in the description but I assumed that meant the wood was shabby chic or aged but no. It is actually a mirror with many black spots all over it and you couldn't consider the spots subtle. Unfortunately, I am stuck with two because I missed the return window which I had no idea was so short.
