I just received mine so they haven't been installed yet. They seem sturdy enough but the color is not as advertised. I bought them mainly for the color as they appear in the picture, but the true color is kind of blah.

The shelves look great! Arrived packaged very neatly and safe. The wood is nice and solid and gives off this kind of rustic look. It was very simple to assemble the shelves. We will add them to our office above the PC to add more storage. The brackets look very nice and scratch resistant. Overall we like the looks and are happy with it.
