Earth-inspired and color-oriented, self-taught artist Melody Joy McMunn plays with movement in subtle ways, favoring oil and mixed media.

I love the picture, I really do, but it does not have the movement and dimension as the one advertised on the Joss and Main website. When comparing the artwork displayed on the website, you can see that there are lighter areas, but on my picture, those light areas are so subtle that they are barely visible. Overall it looks like a solid brown color in all kinds of light. The color is beautiful though, exactly like I hoped it would be. And the frame is very nice. I still love it even though it isn’t what I expected, so I am keeping it.. Sandra. Sun Sep 20 2026

Inspired by the Texas Hill Country, Austin-based artist and registered nurse Aileen Fitzgerald paints atmospheric landscapes reminiscent of early Impressionism with a heavy emphasis on light. Printed on matte canvas with a linen backer and framed within rustic walnut for a gallery-style look. Handmade in Austin, Texas.

Created by artist Melody Joy McMunn, this abstract painting brings a moody, minimalist feel to your walls. Soft layers of black and brown wash across the canvas in a watercolor-inspired technique. It’s finished in a solid walnut floater frame for a refined, gallery-like presentation. You can hang it horizontally or vertically to suit your space. Wall-mounting hardware is included for easy installation.
