The rug in the laundry room is low enough profile that we have no problem opening the door over the rug. I chose these grass rugs because of their environmental sustainability. They are rough for walking on with bare feet, but I don't mind. The 18 ft runner has a jog in it about 3 ft from the end. In other words it's not straight. And the fabric border is not sewn down in a couple places. The small area rug has three places where the grass sticks up. I took pictures thinking I might write a complaint to the company but decided that was not worth my time. Very happy with this purchase. The rug is thicker than I expected and looks great under my dining room table. A chair is not going to slide on this rug, but that was expected. I haven't had much issue with fraying, although this room doesn't get much traffic.
