This is, without a doubt, the nicest, prettiest desk I've ever had. Heaviest, too. This is solid wood. But it was so easy to put together. Tip: Don't use the enclosed allen wrench. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture I have ever owned! I wanted a sturdy, high quality desk that I could use for years, and this is definitely it! Beautiful wood in a very nice color. The rattan is also very high quality. I noticed the drawers have been put together using a dovetail method which is amazing.
