I love the simplicity of this console. It was very easy to assemble, only legs to attach. The packaging was exceptional, so it arrived undamaged. I took one star away due to the fact that it has quite a bit more sheen than the photos show. It appeared to have a matte finish, which is what I wanted. This has a satin sheen for sure. Very nice table. Sturdy and color is as shown in photo, a brassy tone. Only issue I had was to assemble the bottom shelf screws, needed hubbys hand to help. (But I am 67, so hands don't work as well anymore.) One thing to note is remove stickers from legs before assembly, it’s hard to do once legs are attached. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. This is a beautiful piece! And this is the up and coming design style for 2024. It is solid and doesn’t wobble, it seems like it is super durable. It withstood some bumping when I was taking it out of the box by myself and it is still in perfect condition. It is definitely worth the price. I purchased this table at an already discounted price. Was delivered within a few days, and FedEx guy happily wheeled the box into my house, and into my entry so I could unpack and easily assemble. We moved the box onto my nearyby area rug, and we took GREAT care in unpacking (PS -- the unpacking process is SERIOUS -- a LOT of double-cardboard, styrofoam and packing materials.). Once unpacked, we were EXTREMLY careful about assembling. It did take longer than expected to get the parts snug and able to install all screws/bolts. After we flipped the table over and moved it into position in the entry, we saw there were several light scratches on the top of the table. I am sure that once we have a lamp , accessories, etc. sitting on top nobody will notice unless I pointed it out, but I certainly was disappointed at the amount of scratches. I am 100% sure there is NO way we caused these scratches during assembly. We were SOOOO careful, and unpacked and assembled it on CARPET!!! But to return this table to Joss & Main would be impossible -- no way to unassemble everything, repack, return. Will contact Customer Service to see if there is any way for an additional discount if I agree to keep it. Lastly, I do like the entry table. It's ok. Just ok. Pros -it's a very heavy, solid wood table. It is sturdy and not easily moved or tipped over. Cons: The finish is a very different color than I thought was reflected in the listing. It is also uneven as shown in the photos. Additionally, the bolts and washers were loose in the packaging which meant one washer was lost all together. I find the seams and alignment of the pieces to be very unfinished looking. The shelf is not attached to the structure; it just sits there. There are gaps and chips at a lot of the seams.
