The big positive is that this is a very nice, sturdy piece that doesn’t require building. Feels and looks like quality furniture. Arrange for in house delivery if you can. The big negative is the color is not at all was was shown in the photos. There is nothing honey maple about this piece at all. It is also much more grainy than pictures and significantly less interesting looking. There was also some small damage on a visible corner. It's a vintage-inspired piece, but works well with a variety of styles as evidence by my eclectic living room. After looking all over, I was able to purchase this media cabinet on J&M at quite a savings compared to the identical item found at other big chains (Crate, Barn). One word of caution – arrives in an ENORMOUS box, and the delivery guys had to work hard to figure out how to get it through my building's hallway and into my unit...so be prepared (and probably get White Glove delivery if you can)..
