This dresser looks nice and the mango wood is beautiful. The soft close drawers work well. But the drawer bottoms and the back of the dresser are not solid wood. They are a made out of a thin, cheap-looking particle board that appeared to have glue stains on the edges. Not what I expected for the high price tag on this dresser. The packaging was solid, and I had to destroy to get to the dresser, so there was no way to box this up and return it. Nice looking dresser but extremely disappointing that the knobs look totally different than pictured. In photos they are a bright matte brass, in reality they are antiqued to the point where most of the time they look black unless you shine direct light on them, then they look just slightly brass. Easy fix by switching them out, but disappointing for a dresser that is so expensive. Not to mention IMPOSSIBLE to move, so definitely pay to have it delivered to the room of choice. It’s also hard to clean without leaving streaks and shows every dust particle. If I would’ve seen it in stores I would’ve been unimpressed and not purchased it, but it’s not worth the hassle of shipping back so now I’m stuck with a just ok dresser.
