We absolutely love these desks. Highly recommend getting two and using them as center pieces in the room. Organic shape design is so esthetically pleasing, as it shield the typical desk clutter. The desk is a good quality and was well made to put together. My project manager and I had trouble with the right side drawer sliding in easily like the left side after the leg sides were bolted in place with drawers removed. . The mechanism was catching on something. In trying to get the drawer in place we damaged the right corner. Eventually I pushed it very forcefully and the mechanism snapped into place . Love love love this desk. I had been looking for a desk to create a home work station I searched many websites and saw many desks but ultimately I kept coming back to this particular desk. I did end up finding this desk on another site for twice the price. The quality of the wood. The sturdiness of the desk and the depth provide the perfect surface to display and use my computer and printer with still room to write things . I am very pleased with the drawer sizes -- papers/organizers/charge cords you name it can fit in one of the 3 drawers, they get deeper as they go down (just as you would expect from seeing the drawer sizes from the picture). This was the right purchase for our space and it was one of the first furniture pieces that we intend to keep for years to come. Very happy with this desk! White glove delivery also was amazing! The process was easy and the delivery service workers were punctual, efficient and paid attention to detail as they brought the desk into our space! This is, without a doubt, the nicest, prettiest desk I've ever had. Heaviest, too. This is solid wood. But it was so easy to put together. Tip: Don't use the enclosed allen wrench. Use your power drill with a hex bit to screw in the 16 screws used with the mounting kit for the "floating" desktop. Will save a lot of time and frustration. Looks great in my home office.. TA. Bought this with the matching small chest to create an at-home office in a small sunroom. To say I'm delighted with it would be an understatement. The desk feels large and substantial, but looks light. The finish is a milk-white, matte paint that feels silky to touch. It is lightly distressed, without looking cheesy. The brass hardware feels substantial, and slightly more weathered and rough than the photos appeared to me. I prefer that effect, though I may take sandpaper to the interior of the brass rings because they feel a bit nubby and ragged on the inside. The drawers are over 16" deep and a versatile 3-1/2" high so organizers and stationary fit comfortably. They slide smoothly, without rattling, on integral wood slides, and they have rubber-covered bumpers to keep the drawers from falling out. There is plenty of space behind the drawers to drill out for grommets to hold a monitor arm or for cable management, (but I haven't done that yet.) The desk top dimensions were 1/4" heavy in both directions, but that worked out fine for this location. It provides plenty of comfortable work space, and depth to hold an LCD monitor & keyboard, while not taking over the small space. It was easy to assemble, requiring only 6 screws. Allen wrenches were provided. The holes on the cross piece for the stand were not symmetrical, so measure precisely (or with trial-and-error rotate the piece all four ways) to find the right alignment. The mortise-and-tenoned piece fit snugly, and the desk feels remarkably stable. The open base gives plenty of knee room, making the desk a pleasure to sit at.
