POSITIVES: Comes well packaged. Nothing was broken and the delivery schedule and time were on point. Easy to put together and I did it by myself in a little over an hour. Seems pretty solid and I love the height, so those are plusses. NEGATIVES: The reddish color in the online pictures is not what it looks like IRL. I don't mind the color, but if you are looking for a reddish brown, it looks nothing like it. I took a picture of what it looks like in natural light near a window. Directions missed adding the finishing screws to the upper two shelves, but was able to figure that out. The etagere bookcase was well packaged when it arrived, assembled fairly easily and feels very sturdy with the black metal frame. I think it looks rather handsome in my study. I will be adding books later. I might have preferred it if the shelves were made out of solid wood rather than manufactured wood, although they actually look like solid wood.. Donna. Sturdy, quality product but had a couple issues. The first issue is the allen wrench that came with it was too big for the bolts so I had to get one that fit. The second issues is the bolts leave a black grease on your hand and then it rubs onto the gold iron if you’re not careful and doesn’t come off. The gold iron had some bubbling in areas but only noticeable up close. The parts stickers also leave a residue that isn’t easy to get off unless you have a special remover.. Brad.
