Just rec'd this item yesterday and so far so good! I really like the design and although long it is not real wide so this helps. Before I just collected my recyclables in a clear plastic bag which was in the corner of my kitchen but this did not always work. Although I will take the trash out more often this is not a problem and I like having the combo together (trash/recyclables). I would recommend this item to anyone with limited space who is an avid recycler like myself.. Elizabeth. Thomasville, NC. Wed Jul 20 2016

Love this thing. I may use a smaller bag on the right side so garbage doesn't smell but love the convenience of having recycling and regular garbage together.. Becca. Hendersonville, NC. Sun Mar 10 2019

Meet Totem. Totem is an award-winning design that combines all your waste and recycling in one compact unit. It features two compartments arranged vertically, which saves space and makes them very easy to fill and empty. Each compartment has a removable bucket that can be fitted with a single standard liner for general waste or two smaller bags for separating different types of recycling. Totem also features a ventilated odor filter in the main lid that helps reduce moisture and odor build-up from waste. Totem comes with a removable food waste caddy that can be stored in either a compartment or on your counter. Stainless steel versions feature a fingerprint-proof coating, whilst the other models feature an easy-clean powder-coated steel finish.
