Simplehuman 45 Liter / 12 Gallon Rectangular Kitchen Step Trash Can with Soft-Close Lid, Plastic

This steel trash can doesn't mess around. With a step-on opening mechanism, it offers easy hands-free operation. The included liner and odor seal ensures a clean and fresh environment. Its sleek, rectangular shape fits seamlessly into any space. The removable liner and lid make cleaning and disposal a breeze.

I hate stand alone trash cans. For years I have had a cabinet trash bin, but in our new home there was simply not enough cabinet space for trash to take up an entire cabinet so I bought this one. It is the best looking trash can I have ever encountered. It resists finger prints and other mess well and holds a heap a lot of trash! I have seven kids and cook a lot, but we only empty our kitchen trash two to three times a week. It is lovely. Would absolutely recommend.. Kimberly. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Jul 12 2019

The product has a space-efficient shape that fits perfectly in tight spots, like between cabinets. The liner rim lifts for easy access to the liner then closes to grip and keep it neatly out of sight. The strong steel pedal is built to last, and lid Shox technology ensures a smooth, silent close every time.

So perfect and locks in scents. Plus the canister is easy to clean!. Donna. Washington, Dc. Mon Dec 30 2019

An internal hinge and a space-efficient shape allow you to place this can directly against the wall and out of the way. The strong steel pedal is designed to last, and our patented lid Shox technology ensures a smooth, silent close every time. Our code J custom fit liner fits this can perfectly — no bunching or slipping for a cleaner trash experience.

Bought this trash can because our beagle learned how to open the trash cabinet. The lid sits nice and flat so he hasn’t been able to break in. Looks nice, easy to clean.. Susan. Clemmons, NC. Tue Sep 15 2026
