Here’s the thing, when this product is put together - it’s great. The quality is good, it’s sturdy, and gives an elevated clean look to a laundry hamper. However, the reason I am giving 3 stars is because this is EXTREMELY difficult to put together, and for the price it is absolutely ridiculous that is is this hard to put together.
I bought this item (for $20 less) 3 years ago and had to buy it again because my ex took it. I had forgotten how hard it was to put together because of how much I liked the item so I ordered it again and as SOON as I started assembling it, all the memories of the anger, rage, and frustration came back and it was no different this time. It took me around 30mins to put this together because I had to walk away several times to cool down from the seering anger at how hard this was to put together.
I want to make it clear - I am not someone who normally gets frustrated or angry in my day to day. I am a level headed and calm person. Putting together this item made me question my life. For this price, it should either come assesmbled or be EASY to put together. The steps are simple, the execution is beyond difficult. This is not an issue of skill, it’s an issue of product design. Save yourself rage, and get something else or get someone to put it together for you.
