Great size, just what we were looking for

Looks good in our kitchen. Just installed so have not used chalk to write on it yet. I re-stained the wood shelf to make it a darker color. Installed a piece of wallpaper to cover the lower piece of wood. Upper right side had a slight bend damage but not very noticeable.

The instructions for assembling the ledge and hanging the board were inaccurate, making the install process frustrating. The board itself is heavy and appears to be of decent quality, but it probably does not warrant the high price. There are many more affordable boards available that may work just as well. I just happened to like this style as it looked more suitable for home rather than an office. Will be using in my kitchen as a family command center since my fridge is not magnetic.
