Okay, so I give this five stars because I have been researching a wool type rug for months now and I can safely say I think this one hits the jackpot. Other wool rugs I have read that were the size I needed had negative reviews on color or pilling… even the way it was shipped, which was folded!!! There were no reviews on this and it’s over a thousand so I took a chance. First it caned ROLLED properly long ways.Woo good start! Second it’s I think like 40 percent polyester which I knew that fabric would bring a softness and sheen to the wool contrast… and it does! If you lay on it it’s not as soft as a synthetic but I knew that about wool rugs anyways. The color… other people who bought brown wool rugs said it picks up purple so I was worried about this one. It’s brown! In full light it’s brown, but I think certain lighting it can look purple which it’s fine it’s not that big of deal. If you had a very natural light area this will certainly pick up true brown. When it’s dimmed light it does have. Slight purple tinge but I just think that’s how brown wool rugs are now that I have one. It’s no big deal to me. Overall from other review pictures on brown wool rugs compared to this one… I mean this is exactly what I was looking for. In real life it’s a more deep brown, exactly what I wanted.. Amber. We absolutely love this rug! It is gorgeous. Colors are true neutral - beige, light tan, and off white. Two stars because it is a Super soft rug. However there is a big spot on the middle of the rug that is a different color than the rest of the rug! Beautiful rug! The design and colors are very unique. Reason for 4 stars is because the rug is a bit scratchy (not soft at all) and very thin. I used the under rug pad and it helps but because it’s all wool it’s bumpy and scratchy. It is not a mix of cotton & wool which is my preference. On the upside - very little shedding.. Priscila A. Beautiful rug! Sheds like crazy but worth it! Thankfully, we have no indoor pets or small children, hard wood floors throughout the house and the rug is in a very low traffic area...so keeping up with the shedding takes very little effort. To give an idea of the shedding... I raked my fingers through it to fluff it after opening and got enough wool to make a matching sweater (see photo)! The next day I sat on it and was covered in wool so ran my stick vacuum over it and got a plastic grocery bag full of wool. If I was to run the vacuum over it again, I'm sure I'd get another bag full of wool...lol Still giving it 5 stars...it's just that pretty!. Alisha. Bloomington, IN. Mon Oct 13 2025

I love this rug, BUT just be aware that the description and stock photos don't quite match up with the actual rug. The description calls the color "silver/gray." I think cream and gray would be a better description. "Silver" makes it seem like it could be metallic, but it isn't. The stock pictures of the rug look like a cream colored rug with gray crosses. The actual rug has quite a bit of gray variation in the cream part between the crosses. The rug is a beautiful warm tone and makes my room look very cozy and inviting. It is soft underfoot and appears to be of good quality.. Anonymous. Wed Apr 29 2026
