This is a very nice quality runner. The design is subtle. It is thin. The rug pad the was suggested is very thick and made it so that the doors in the hallway could not open over it. I ordered this rug to layer over another rug in a sunroom. I had expected a slightly redder tone, but this is a nice brick shade that blends with the other colors in the room. The rug is thicker than anticipated and quite comfortable. It’s also not a solid color but varied shades of brick that gives it visual interest.
