Beautiful rug! Sheds like crazy but worth it! Thankfully, we have no indoor pets or small children, hard wood floors throughout the house and the rug is in a very low traffic area...so keeping up with the shedding takes very little effort. To give an idea of the shedding... I raked my fingers through it to fluff it after opening and got enough wool to make a matching sweater (see photo)! The next day I sat on it and was covered in wool so ran my stick vacuum over it and got a plastic grocery bag full of wool. I wish I could take a photo that did this rug justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. The beige wool is almost golden. It makes the room so warm and cozy. It hasn’t had much time to rest so it may look a bit bumpyuneven. It will flatten overnight I assume. I vacuumed it thoroughly and it of course produced a lot of shed (to be expected with a wool rug), but it held up spectacularly. It’s so easy to vacuum, and is clearly of excellent quality.
