LOVE this rug! Beautiful, soft and thick! It was exactly how it was pictured and what I was looking for. If you want more of a 'white/cream white' color, go for the "Parchment" color, not the Beige - which other viewers have mentioned is not as 'white' in person. The Parchment/white color had threads of light grey in it too. I purchased an 8FT x 10FT size. Rug had no odors.

Its very soft. We originally bought it for our bedroom, which we have lots of whites and taupes in. I didn't like it against the white, it looked quite yellow next to our white bedding. But we brought it downstairs to our family room, where it looks great with the colors. Our sofas are off white. It looks much more ivory in the family room against the off white sofas etc. The pattern on the rug adds interest.
