I had to change my review. After having this rug for one month, it does not hold up well at all. the little balls are coming undone and the whole rug is getting a layer of fuzz that won’t come up. DONT BUY!

Good quality rug. Drawback is that it sheds like a dog

This was pretty. But, now I regret buying it. Poorly made. I now have to glue the ends pieces down. This is not in a "high traffic" room either.

Shrunk Rug and Endless Shedding Saga I bought this rug along with a non-slip pad in the same size, expecting a perfect 8x8 match as advertised. Surprise! It’s more like 8x-who-knows-what. Just take a look at the picture—it’s practically playing hide-and-seek with the pad! And as if that wasn’t enough, every time I vacuum, it sheds wool like it’s trying to recreate a snowstorm in my living room. At this rate, I might end up with more wool in my vacuum than on the rug itself!

So sad about this rug. I was so excited about purchasing this rug for our new house! One of the splurges, I reasoned ). It is super soft and I love the feel when walking barefooted on it. I knew from reviews that the rug would shed but it would settle they said. BUT this rug continues to shed after six months plus! We find clumps of the wool fuzz throughout the house, all over our socks, and on your clothes if lying on the floor. It’s maddening. The rugs braids come undone which isn’t huge because they can be tucked back in but the matting on the rug itself is ridiculous. Just so so disappointed.
