Russo Striped Handmade Flatweave Silk Gray/Ivory Area Rug

The rug was beautiful when I first received it but did not hold up. The loops pulled out immediately and it cannot be vacuumed. It’s in the garbage now.

I am in the market for a new rug :-( After only 3 months, this rug is coming apart. I do have a cat and a dog. This is not even a tiny bit durable. Other rugs I've purchased from Wayfair are still in good shape. Only buy this rug if it will be in a room that only people look at and not live in.

I love the look of this rug, however, it is tufted too loose which makes it difficult to clean or vacuum.

This is a good example of why online purchases can backfire: you can't walk on a rug in a photo. The ridges in this rug are really thick and wide, so walking on it is actually painful. Also, it has no backing and it's very loose and floppy, like a big fisherman's sweater, so it slides around on the floor. It will need a non-slip pad or someone will go flying. I may return it if I can get the energy to repack it. On the plus side, it's attractive, though overall it's more grey than beige, contrary to what the photos indicate.
