Beautiful, unique rug. It lays flat right out of the packaging. It is beigetanoff white with darker brown accents throughout. This isnt thw softest rug, but I didnt expect it to be, it was more of a design choice. The low pile parts are completely flat while the texture accent parts are more fluffy. The colors are consistent throughout though. My only worry is with the first vacuum, a lot of fiber came up.

I’m definitely happy I purchased a rug pad. The rug didn’t have as much depth as I was looking for but once I put the rug pad underneath it gave it the perfect amount of density to this beautiful rug. A little more on the beige side with a noticeable weave pattern consisting of tan and light brown wool threads. I’m not sure I noticed that in the pictures.
