I am going to start with I love this rug, but this is not the rug I ordered. I ordered a textured ivory rug. Wayfair worked with me to resolve the issue. I returned the rug 2 times and the 3rd time I gave up. With that being said, I ordered the rug to put in my daughters room under the bed after we ripped up her carpeting and put down Pergo flooring. I told my daughter we were just keeping it and was still going in her room and when we completely unrolled it, she said she loved it. Regardless if I wanted ivory, this rug is still beautiful. It came well packed with several layers of heavy duty plastic ensuring that the rug was not damaged in transit. The quality of the rug is amazing and I have seen minimal shedding as opposed to other wool rugs we have. The backing is a soft fabric type and doesnt need a pad for my purpose because I have a bed holding it in place. I would recommend a pad if it doesnt have furniture on it to prevent slipping. I took off one star because this wasnt what I ordered, but I am still extremely satisfied with the rug. It is probably for the better since ivory would have gotten dirty over time and because of the color variation in the rug you will most likely never see any wear. This rug is beautiful and I would order this one again in the future.

Beautifully crafted, wool area rug. Came packaged along a long, narrow tube with minimal packaging. Wish the photos could more accurately depict the color: it has light browns beneath a mushroom/taupe primary color. The darkest color is a warm, chocolatey-brown, almost olive. The backing is not grippy, but the rug is so well constructed I'm not worried about movement. I'd recommend this rug to fill your space!

The Gwen’s wool area rug is gorgeous. It is so soft and luxurious under your feet. The color is a soft ivory with hints of tans and browns. It’s a neutral so it will coordinate with any color. The rug arrived on time and was very well packaged. I would recommend this product.

This rug fits my space beautifully. It is a great blend of shades that complement my kitchen and it is easy on your feet. Wool shed like crazy and I was prepared for that but it holds up well and does not absorb dirt - also a comfy place for my dog.

I absolutely love this carpet. I bought it for a spare room and left it in the kitchen to air. My 13 year old loves it and wants it. It is so well made. Even without a pad, it is super soft under bare-feet. I would love it in a another larger size (too).
