This hand-tufted area rug brings a cozy and welcoming foundation to your main bedroom or entryway. It's woven from 100% wool, offering a plush surface that feels soft underfoot. The medium pile height provides a balanced feel that's just right for living areas where you want a bit of extra cushion. A canvas backing adds a layer of structure to the design, helping it maintain its form over time. It also works well in various rooms to ground your furniture. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Beautiful rug. The colors will hide whatever gets spilled on it.. Jean. Menomonee Falls, WI. Sat Sep 26 2026

Hand-woven in India of 100% wool, this rug sets a refined, heavily textured tone that can work in any space

What an awesome rug!! The texture of this rug is fabulous...beautiful bumpy lumps of pure soft wool. It far exceeds my expectations. I don't think I would recommend it if you had pets because of their claws but other than that it is awesome.. Diane. Duck, NC. Sun Jul 30 2023

Add an earthy yet elevated accent to your space with this solid taupe area rug. It's handmade from a blend of wool and viscose with a canvas backing, and it showcases a purposefully faded design that gives it the look of a flea-market-find. We love how the medium height adds a fresh foundation to your living room or bedroom while still being easy to vacuum. Plus, it's safe to use on heated floors. Pro-tip: Pair this piece with a rug pad for added cushion and to help keep it in place.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous! I ordered the grey and it looks a lot lighter in person that it does online. It's more of a bone color with specks of charcoal peeking through. I took a star off because it does seem to shed quite a bit. Hopefully this will go away in a month or two.. Melanie. Gaithersburg, MD. Mon Sep 26 2022

Great quality of the rug we ordered and rapid delivery as well. Joss and Main did their part but the delivery was two days late because of FedEx inept delivery stall in Independence KY. I would highly recommend the Elle Handmade Wool Ivory Rug by Birch Lane™ Thanks!. Philip. IN. Fri Jun 19 2026
