Carolan Hand Tufted Wool Gray Rug

I like this rug and was surprised with how soft it is for a wool rug. Nice and thick, seems quality. However, was a little disappointed with the color. Online the white looks like much more of a true white. In person, it’s a very yellow/beige looking white.

This is the second of two rugs I had chosen for my great room but mistakenly ordered in colors that clashed with my decor. The rug is natural woolen color with the design in brownish taupe. The quality of the rug is fantastic which makes it all the more difficult to not use it. If you are looking for a quality rug in natural brown or taupe tones I recommend this rug.

First the bad. The feel of the rug is somewhat rough bd scratchy. It’s not very soft in between the toes. Feels warm like a good winter rug. Now the great. It is a beautiful rug and very thick under the feet. It laid flat immediately and it’s gorgeous. The look is more white than a sandy grey blue color like the pictures. My item was also back ordered so shipping took over 3 months. So even though it ran out of stock I finally got it. Didn’t think I ever would but glad I did.

We love this rug! It's creamier than I expected but it's still really nice. If you are looking for a true white, this is not the right rug for you. That being said, this rug is so cushiony! It's softer and nicer than the rug I paid a ton of money for in my living room. That's even with the pad I bought for under that one. If I could, I would return that one and just buy this one. This brand will be my go to for rugs from now on.

This rug is perfect. It is just the right color for my space and it lined up well with my furniture and walls. The pile was just the right depth and the bottom was not at all slippery. Furthermore, the neutral color goes well with just about anything. The best part is that it is quite soft and one can even lie down on it with no problems.
