The rug looks exact in terms of color as the pictures! Where it is different is in the texture. It is not a soft rug and is versatile to be used outside so it has a more rough touch and feel to it. Putting a rug pad under would help with the softness in terms of comfort so it’s not straight on the floor but it would not help with the softness of the texture which is the rough part. Overall, happy with the product and the coloring of it though I wish it would be a bit softer as we are using it indoors.
