Alec Blue Hand-Tufted Plaid Wool Rug

Make a statement. This rug is expertly handwoven, flaunting a high-low flatweave that adds an extra layer of dimension. Crafted from 100% wool, it showcases a classic plaid pattern in a duo-tone palette that easily blends with any decor. The high-low pile not only adds texture but feels great under your feet. A cotton backing is added for extra stability, though we do recommend a rug pad. Bonus - it's naturally stain-resistant, making it a top pick for pet-friendly homes.

I bought this rug for my son’s room and we love it. Everyone who visits compliments it, so we ended up getting the large version for our basement and love it down there too! It is thick enough that it doesn’t need a rug pad and feels very nice.. Sarah. KS. Sun Jun 07 2026

Handmade in India using a flat weave technique, this area rug instantly adds rustic charm and some seriously cozy vibes to your space. It's crafted from viscose with a series of plaid-inspired stripes in ivory and light gray. The neutral, understated hues pair well with all sorts of different decor styles, and the classic pattern just goes with everything. To help keep your rug in place and reduce shifting and sliding, we recommend adding a rug pad (sold separately) underneath.

Absolutely love it! Exactly as pictured with the light grayish blue stripes.. Meredith. Dallas, TX. Tue Nov 29 2022

I just received this rug and put it in my bedroom and it has exceeded my expectations. I love the size the abstract geometric pattern, and the cream and tan colors are very neutral and soothing . The rug is thicker than I had anticipated and appears to be very well-made. There were no odors when I opened it.. It was double wrapped in extremely heavy plastic and a heavy duty cardboard roller in the middle. I highly recommend this area rug.. Ellen. Reading, MA. Thu Aug 20 2026

This indoor area rug brings a clean, modern aesthetic to your home with its minimalist geometric pattern. It's an understated design that effortlessly complements your existing decor, providing a foundational piece that anchors your layout. Crafted from wool fibers, it naturally resists wear and stains, so it's an excellent choice for busy, high-traffic areas of your space. It introduces a welcoming feel underfoot while maintaining a low-profile presence that easily integrates with various furniture arrangements. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Beautiful rug with great texture! I absolutely love this rug! The texture is beautiful, and it’s surprisingly soft and comfortable to walk on. The color was a little lighter and more brown in person than it appeared in the pictures—I was expecting more of a burnt orange—but it still looks great in my living room. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.. Tiffany. Auburn, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026
