Edit: I had to remove a star and update my review. While this is such a beautiful rug, and seems high quality otherwise, the smell is awful and isn't going away. It's been several weeks and the smell is still there quite strongly, almost as bad as the first day. The smell is like a strong burning rubber smell. It's gives me a terrible headache, and it bothers my husband too. It's much worse on a sunny day; so much so that I can't be in my living room for long on a sunny day. I'm deeply disappointed in this because it said it was Otex certified, and for something Otex I wouldn't expect such a horrible chemical smell. I am turned off from the brand now, which is unfortunate since they make stunning rugs. The rug is beautiful, though a bit different in color than I expected. The white is very white, so my beige chair looks darker next to it, but it has some beige like colors in it so I'm still keeping it. The colors are interesting. The blue is a smoky blue gray. Up close you can see rusty reds and gold, but stand a little bit away and it looks more neutral where the red and gold take on a brown and beige look. It definitely works as a more interesting neutral rug. The pattern is much like the photos online...very pretty, almost lacey like pattern. I think the rug would work with a lot of styles and colors. I have blue, yellow, red, and small touches of green in my living room, and it works well with that. The rug is really nice and soft under foot, but not slippery. It's also thicker than expected, which I appreciate; I don't even know if I will use a rug pad. It feels plush for a low pile rug. It also looks more expensive than it was. Since it is lighter weight than something like wool, the edges were curled pretty badly when I unrolled it, and there are some bumps it. I have heavy books on it and expect that will calm down in a few days. I may rug tape a couple of edges though as I expect it will be a tripping hazard. It doesn't move easily though, even when my dog was running around on it. The smell is awful however, so keep that in mind. We are just running an air purifier, which is helping. I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to off gas. Overall it's a good rug. I hope it holds up to my dog, who claims all my rugs as his playmat.

This rug is exactly what I was lookingfor. The colours are perfect for my space. Some navy and warm colours as well. The wayfair service was excellent.
