Althena Wool Area Rug

I love this rug. The colour is so nice and earthy and there is a perfect level of variation in tone so it doesn't feel flat.

Perfect in our living room. It's lighter than I thought it would be, more of a rust color - light definitely impacts the appearance, but that didn't end up being a problem for us. Well made - it's really thick and comfortable.

I bought the Athena Wool copper rug. The rug was packaged well and shipped quickly. It's very high quality and feels great under my feet. The only problem is the color is nowhere close to the picture on the website. Instead of being brown, it has a reddish hue. As much as I like the rug, it doesn't match or compliment anything in my living room. I'll probably end up giving it to a friend and buying something else. My loss.

Two things unfortunately. 1) the color is not accurate. The actual color is more close to burnt orange than to brown. 2) the rug came damaged and it’s too difficult to return.

We wanted a rug under our dining table but it was too thick for what we were wanting. The return back to the store wasn’t too bad. Customer service at the Allmodern store was pretty good.

After trying 5 other rugs, I’m finally happy with this one. I love the color. It’s lighter in person, somewhere between burgundy and mauve. I have three cats and they have shredded other rugs within hours. This one is surviving their habit of clawing and pulling themselves across the room on it. The variation in color is not overwhelming and adds nice texture. It is thicker than it looks in the pictures. Buying rugs online is a real challenge, thank the heavens this one was a winner! It is very nice quality for the cost.

Wonderful rug at a great price. It is soft and cushioned and great quality.

Love it. Just what I wanted. The color is olive green and is an excellent natural color. It’s also very comfy on my feet. It’s got a slightly variegated pattern.

Very stripey in person -- not what I was expecting.
