This rug is a little more shag-like than I anticipated from the description. It's also taking awhile to relax into it's final shape/dimensions. Too difficult to return, and it'll probably look good once we've got furniture in that room.

Disappointed in the dual texture since it makes the rug feel lumpy. Would have been much nicer if plushness covered the entire surface.

Beautiful rug! Sheds like crazy but worth it! Thankfully, we have no indoor pets or small children, hard wood floors throughout the house and the rug is in a very low traffic area...so keeping up with the shedding takes very little effort. To give an idea of the shedding... I raked my fingers through it to fluff it after opening and got enough wool to make a matching sweater (see photo)! The next day I sat on it and was covered in wool so ran my stick vacuum over it and got a plastic grocery bag full of wool.
