After being disappointed by the declines in quality of some of my favorite brands, I was happy to see that Le Creuset is still a top-notch product. I ordered an 8qt oval dutch oven, and despite what appeared to be marginally adequate packaging for such a heavy item, a close inspection showed that it arrived in pristine condition. I wasted no time in putting it to use in the production of a large batch of beef bourgignon, which came out perfectly. And after storing the beef in the pot for a week, everything cleaned up to its original condition.
