The chair was easy to unpackage and assemble, and true to its description (I purchased it in slate fossil linen fabric with ash arms). The seat is very firm, which I like. The swivel operates easily. I am 5'4" and my husband is 6'1". We both find the seat low but not too low, and deep but not too deep. The chair is well made and I would recommend.
