When you separate the enclosed branches, I found that the berries are glued to adjacent berries and branches. Separating the individuals branches and berries caused the berries to removed the outer covering and color and you are left with the white areas throughout the branches. So I hand painted the white areas individually with craft paint and there were a lot of them. I would have returned them but I loved the berry colors.
